Charlotte Levitt

Charlotte embarked on her academic journey at Leeds Metropolitan University, where she dedicated herself to pursuing a Master’s degree in Osteopathy. Her passion for the subject grew from first hand experiences with sporting injuries. As a talented basketball player, representing England at junior level, Charlotte experienced various physical setbacks that sparked her interest in osteopathy as a therapeutic approach.

After graduating with a distinction in 2012, Charlotte became a registered member of the General Osteopathic Council and the Institute of Osteopathy. These accreditations solidified her commitment to upholding the highest standards of practice and staying abreast of the latest advancements in the field.

Charlotte’s treatment approach is centered around a structural framework, with a particular focus on sports-related and acute injuries. However, she also finds great satisfaction in tackling the complexities of chronic conditions, believing that every individual, irrespective of age, deserves the opportunity to live an active and pain-free life.

Charlotte has undertaken both Fundamental and Advanced training in Kinesio Taping, a technique that harnesses the power of elastic therapeutic tape to promote healing and support the body’s natural recovery processes.

Following her graduation, she gained valuable experience working in practices in York, Newark, and Grantham. These diverse experiences have honed her skills and deepened her understanding of osteopathy’s transformative potential.
