George Allen is a sports therapist with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Therapy from the University of Gloucestershire. He graduated in 2020 and has since worked with various athletes and teams, providing them with a range of sports therapy services.
George is certified in Foundation Acupuncture and Dry Needling, which are techniques used to relieve pain and improve muscle function. He is also certified in Kinesio Taping KT1 & KT2, a method of taping used to support muscles and joints and promote healing.
Additionally, George is proficient in strapping and taping techniques, which are used to immobilize and protect injured areas.
George has worked with the Newark Rugby Club since 2022, providing sports therapy services to the team’s players. He is experienced in treating a variety of sports injuries, including muscle strains, sprains, and contusions. George is also skilled in providing rehabilitation exercises to help individuals recover from injuries and improve their performance.
In addition to his work as a sports therapist, George is an avid athlete himself. He enjoys Taekwondo and snowboarding. George’s passion for sports and his dedication to helping others make him an excellent sports therapist.
